I
was born in Bolivia, in a little town named Guabira near
the jungle, giving me the oportunity to live my life
close to nature. At 17, I moved to Chile to study
psychology, which I am also passionate about. After
graduating I pursued my dream of traveling the Americas,
and to do so I learned how to make jewelry with macrame
and natural materials found in nature. To support myself
I sold my jewelry in the streets, fairs, and beaches.
I started my journey in Bolivia and then on to Brazil,
Paraguay, Peru, Edcuador, Colombia, the rest of South America,
and all the way up to the United States. Before I knew it, five
years had gone by! It was a wonderful experience, living a
nomadic lifestyle and meeting new friends from around the
world. My sense of comunity and love for others and nature
grew along with my desire to create, express myself, and
share. Every place I visited was unique and inspired me in its
own way and my technique improved along with my
imagination. I learned to incorporate many different elements
from the spaces that surrounded me, to discover their
beauty and teaching, and to express myself through my art.
After five years traveling, this year I decided to go continue
my studies in psychology. Most recently, after traveling in
Cental America I decided the best place for me to continue
my studies was in Costa Rica. I am now studying here for my
masters in psychoanalysis. Since I can´t travel anymore I
decided to make a website so I can still sell my work and share
the magic of natural jewelry with others around the world. I
hope you enjoy it too. If you have any comment, question, or
you have an idea for your own custom jewelry, please feel
free to email me.
