Little African
Seashell Necklace

This necklace features a Cypraea sea shell
(couldn’t determine which in particular), trapped in a
net and
decorated with tiny pieces of amber, carnelian and gold
sand stone, hanging on a faux leather cord. I got this
shell in an exchange with an artisan from Bahia, who told
me that it comes from the coast of Africa but he didn’t
know what area in particular. I have researched but
haven’t been able to find out yet. If you happen to know
please send me an email with the info ok!
To clasp the necklace insert the knot in the
opening. The
shell can be washed with gentle soap and a soft
brush.
